Todays the day, the bikes are all packed and the journey starts!


Leaving from the HB pier around 8ish, friends and family will be there to say there last goodbyes, then first nights stop is in Ramona, Ca

    Hi Peggy! It is Renee, Brittany Perez's mom. I read your article in the OC Register and was checking out your site and I wanted to wish you and Brian best of luck on your journey.     Peggy and Brian,
    Jim from Julian here. What a pleasure to meet you today and to be able to spend some time with you talking. Thanks for "finding" The Candied Apple and for helping a Dad re-enforce that the time we spend with our kids is the most precious of times.
    I just showed my kids (Kaleigh,9 and Bradley,7)your website and we have all decided that we will follow you for the summer,except when we are on Catalina. : ) NO computers for us while camping.
    May all of your family,friends,and new friends energy's be with you and keep you safe on your adventure.
    I hope that one day you can return to Julian and find me so that we can sit over a root beer or two and you can help an old traveler get goose bumps once again.
